The Annual Public Relation Council of India (PRCI) award 2012 goes to national acclaimed music director Hamsalekha, popular director R Chandru, veteran actress BV Radha and others.

The Karnataka Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda in the presence of KS Eshwarappa state President of BJP is presenting the awards for 10 different personalities who have shown achievement.

For director R Chandru the recognition comes for the propagating of peace in his films. He is the director of Taj Mahal, Prem Kahani, Mylari, Ko Ko Koli Kothi and currently taken up ‘Charminar’ Kannada cinema.

On Friday evening at Chancery Hotel the other dignitaries like BKS Verma Kuncha Kalavidha, Thippe Swamy world wild life Photographer, KDN Chandrasekhar for Drama, Narayanaswamy of Heegu Unte television show, HS Shekar for lifetime achievement, Naeeda Ataulllah for journalism, Gangavathi Prakash are also receiving the honors.
